A true gift to the Fringe circuit

"Wrestling is real. It's the world that's set up." That's just one of the bon mots issuing forth in Jacob Richmond's killer-smart script. Two Edward Goreyesque children pop to life in the persons of Penny and Ezra Lamb. On the lam from their oppressive upbringing, they break into Wal-Mart world (a.k.a. America) and try to make sense of life and love as they trek toward a fateful run-in with Penny's favourite pop star. With a smirking deadpan worthy of Kafka, Amitai Marmorstein and Celine Stubel deliver a true gift to the Fringe circuit.
